Sample Resolutions

Your board can adopt resolutions in favor of or opposed to issues that are on the ballot. However, boards cannot adopt resolutions in favor of certain school board candidates, and must follow the requirements of the Fair Campaign Practices Act when drafting resolutions or distributing a factual, unbiased summary of topics on the ballot. Review our FCPA resource on our website for more information. CASB provides sample resolutions on pertinent topics upon request.
