- Boards may want to attach supporting documents that illustrate the work outlined in the narrative.
- Be specific. This will give judges a clear picture of your board’s effective work.
- Disclaimer: By submitting this application, nominees agree all application materials (except for personal contact information) may be used publicly by CASB for informational and promotional purposes.
The Award
Along with the honor of being recognized as a pioneer of exceptional governance, the winning school board will receive $2,500 to be used for any educational purpose the board chooses. Winners will be honored during CASB’s 73rd Annual Convention Dec. 5-8, 2013, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.
Thank you to George K. Baum for their generous support of this award and for their support of educational excellence.

Selection Committee
A committee of current and former board members will review all applications, select finalists and confirm the All State Award winner.
