Reviews will take between two to five hours and will be completed on your own time on a rolling basis. All charter schools eligible to receive Charter School Capital Construction funding are required to complete the Charter School Capital Construction Report (CSCC-01) on an annual basis. This online report is due by Tuesday, Oct. 31, to help CDE determine eligibility and funding levels for the next fiscal year.

Join the virtual interactive session at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19, with Grant Geis, coordinator of linguistically diverse education in District 49, as he shares his insights on professional learning, increasing the rigor in classrooms and implementation coaching cycles. This is also an opportunity to connect with other Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) leaders across the state, as well as participate in a question-and-answer segment with Grant.

TAP members are appointed by the commissioner of education and serve three-year terms without compensation. Applicants must represent a rural community in Colorado and must demonstrate expertise with educational assessment, growth (including the Colorado growth model), research, and/or accountability.
By Monday, Dec. 4, applicants must submit a statement of interest and resume using this form to be considered. The selected candidate will be notified prior to January 2024.

The new Building a Data Culture video series uses resources from the Institute of Education Sciences and What Works Clearinghouse to describe the five key areas needed to create a strong data culture in schools and districts. The series of short, on-demand webinars and related resources support the building of a data culture by school and district administrators and staff.
The five webinars include:
- Ensuring access to data
- Building knowledge and skills to use data
- Making meaning from data
- Clarifying data use expectations
- Leading to support a data culture

CDE's Office of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education will offer educators a virtual workshop series provided by Natasha Quiroga that will focus on supporting the immigrant students and families of Colorado. The content will cover understanding the immigration legal system, dispelling common immigration misconceptions, analyzing federal policies impacting immigrant children (Title 42 and DACA), analyzing the Flores Settlement Agreement, trafficking victims’ protection act, as well as other various related areas of the immigration journey.
The sessions below are designed for superintendents, district leadership teams, coaches, general educators and English language development specialists.
- Session 1: Immigration 101 - Thursday, Nov. 14, 2023, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Session 2: From the Border to the Classroom: Experiences of Unaccompanied Children - Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
- Session 3: The Long Road Ahead: The Path to the U.S. and the Legal Journey of Immigrant Students - Tuesday, March 26, 2024, 4:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The Ninth Grade Success Grant Program provides funding to local education providers and charter schools to help improve the ninth-grade student experience by ensuring that students enrolled in ninth grade develop the skills they need to continue to 10th grade and graduate from high school ready for a career.
